Finding your courage
Many of us lead lives that are dominated by the fear to be who we truly are. This can manifest as anxiety and depression that can sap our emotional strength and reduce our motivation, resulting in feelings of inadequacy and defeat, loneliness and isolation, relationship problems, and poor work performance.
Professional counselling can provide support and guidance to help you find the courage to overcome your challenges, and to lead you towards a happier and more fulfilled life.
How I can help you
I provide confidential, professional counselling and psychotherapy for clients with a range of concerns and issues including: anxiety, depression and stress.
I have worked with people experiencing distress associated with gender identity, sexuality, chronic disease, cancer, trauma, violence, workplace stress, and relationship and family conflict. My clients range in age from adolescents and young adults to older people including those in aged-care facilities.
I specialise in working with those who are exploring their gender identity or sexuality. I provide a safe and non-judgemental space to enable each person to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs. Concerns about identity can lead to feeling different from everyone else, being alone and isolated and fearing that no-one will understand how you feel or accept the way you are.
I can provide an open and accepting atmosphere that can help you build confidence and develop the courage to further explore who you really are.
